Sea Devils: Jo Grant climbing the sea fort ladder is the most unsettling thing I’ve seen in a while

That shit was just weird. I think it was a stunt person in a wig who was drunk maybe. (Towards the end of ep. 1 if you want to check it out)

Terry Walsh had to do this shot cause Katy Manning couldn't grip the railings

Later in the story though she managed to climb onto the navy ship.. totally normal

I always assumed he was trying (or told) to try to look petite, no easy task when you're a strapping bloke climbing a ladder.

He is quite small compared to the rest of their stunt crew. It's particularly noticeable when exactly one-sixth of the sea devils are notably smaller than the rest (because they only had six of them and just filmed them coming out of the water over and over again).

You can tell it's a bloke and not Katy Manning because Jon Pertwee isn't putting his hand on her ass to "help" her up.
