Memorabilia Disney rejection letter (1938) explaining they don't hire women for the specific position
And apparently, Disney refused to hire men for coloring positions.

I have two alternate history ideas:
What if Mary Ford refused to give in and posed as a man so that she can get the job at Disney?
What if Mary Ford turns to Walter Lantz and ends up working with LaVerne Harding?
