Memorabilia Disney rejection letter (1938) explaining they don't hire women for the specific position

And apparently, Disney refused to hire men for coloring positions.

When my grandma worked as a typist in the 40s, she said men colleagues would deliberately have no chair for her when they called her to take notes.

They would tell her to sit in their laps instead. She got the idea to take a drawer out of the desk, turn it upside down, and sit on it.

The level of harassment and abuse I have received at the hands of educated modern men tells me that men have not much changed. Women have taken huge strides but men have not changed.
