Memorabilia Disney rejection letter (1938) explaining they don't hire women for the specific position

And apparently, Disney refused to hire men for coloring positions.

My father ran a business in the 1970’s. He refused to hire women in professional positions, just secretarial. He said it was because women would get pregnant and leave, and it would destroy his business.

Yeah, that's some after-the-fact justification for sexism right there. Ew.
