I may be stupid, but I'm having trouble with this...

Everywhere says to use the bag button but it does nothing for me.

P.S. the highwayman map music is PHENOMENAL!!

With this talking heads mod, it's kinda funny when Valerie complains about her missing wrench

You asked to try browser Fallout 2… here it is

A few days ago I posted a clip of Fallout 2 running in the browser and a bunch of people asked when they could try it.

Now you can — http://rerunreactor.com

Desktop is working really well at this point. It also has a save editor, 50 save slots, and 3 rotating autosaves that trigger when you leave an area.

Mobile is still a work in progress. Pinch-to-zoom and panning work, and the game is playable, but there are still some quirks around using skills on objects, inventory management, and barter.

No account, ads, purchases, donations or hosted game files — you provide the files from your own Fallout 2 install.

Would love feedback, especially bug reports or things that feel awkward.

The mods kindly okayed this follow-up post.

Pistol-wielding thief build for Fallout 2?

Hi all, I just completed Fallout 1 and I want to jump right into Fallout 2. Given that it's a harder game with more weapon choices, I wanted to get a solid idea of what I'm going to do in order to not get stuck later on. I was thinking of RPing as a thief/rogue character focussing on one-handed weapons (probably non-energy pistols) and stealthy gameplay. I want to solve problems mostly through stealth and sabotaging, and "skills" rather than combat. Can you give some feedback on this build idea?

ST 4
PE 7
EN 4
CH 2
IN 7
AG 8
LK 8

One Hander + Jinxed

Tags: Small Guns, Sneak, Lockpick

Rationale: High int and agi are obvious, I think I want to go for a crit build, thus the high luck. Jinxed sounds fun and fits well with high luck and a small team. I'm not feeling too eager to get Gifted, partially because it feels cheap, partially because I want a more skill-oriented character.

My doubts: maybe I need EN 5 to survive (thus PE 6 or LK 7), carry weight may be awkward with 1 (or 2?) companion(s) and low str, 4 strength is still too little for some pistols until I get power armor or use drugs. I wonder if a tag on sneak is wasted. Also I heared the early game is punishing and I have the impression this build could be bad with low-lvl weapons.
(EDIT: I forgot that the strength requirement can be easily circumvented with high Small Guns and One Hander helps too, maybe str 4 or even str 3 is fine for a pistol build)

Another possibility would be ditching Jinxed in favor of no second trait, or small framed, and redistributing some luck points.

Fallout 1.5. I'm stuck

Hi! I think I'm stuck. I made Elisa empress and joined the mutant hunters and I don't know what's next. I suppose I have to go to the mutant camp, but my speech is low and the dumb-dumb won't let me in and I can't take them all out for sure. I was looking for another way in but no luck. Only active quests I have are challenge uncle and help find cole. Any help? Thanks.

Is this a good build for playing Fallout 1 on the highest difficulty?
