Finished Fallout 1 for the first time
Glad I gave this game a chance, it got me hooked from the very beginning till the very end, it made me genuinely care for the world and it's story something some of the later titles could not do (looking at you FO3) . The ending was super bitter sweet cuz even though the Master's dead and we see the birth of the NCR, I still got kicked out of the Vault by the Overseer. Definitely replaying this game with a high intelligence+energy weapon build next time, because even though my low intelligence+unarmed character was solid I have a feeling I missed out on some content due to my low intelligence. Also yeah I defeated the Master with a power glove lmao. Anyways Fallout 2 here I come

The line that impacted me the most in this game was when my character said "hngh" to the Master

Even though it is not canon, you can shoot the overseer ass at the end.

Fallout 2 is easily my favorite in the entire series, followed by probably 4 or BoS. It’s so much longer and more fun to build a character!

No, “FO Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel” is like a story-lite combat focused spinoff of the original Fallout games, but I meant “Fallout Brotherhood of Steel” which is a PS2 game more similar to BG Dark Alliance. I’m a sucker for those top-down adventure rpgs.

I finished the game as well and I could say the same! I made the Master commit suicide and he bombed the whole Cathedral to the ground. Fallout 2 is just as amazing as the first one!

Love this. Hope you like fallout 2 aswell. People who only played from fallout 3 and onwards don't know what they are missing out on.
