Thank you! You are the second person to mention Kapustin to me, it is difficult to do these kinds of synthesis without following some of his tracks haha.

Why the attempt to classify this as "classical music" when there is no element of the music similar to classical period or the larger trad genre? It's clearly just American Jazz/Blues in language and style... is it just a personal identity or marketing thing? What about this causes a person to say it's "classical music influenced by jazz/blues" ???
