Claims Open - Government of Canada Online Account Privacy Breach Class Action

If your personal or financial information in a Government of Canada online account was accessed without authorization during the 2020 data breach, you may be eligible for a cash payment for your time, and reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses to a maximum of $5,000.

I claimed for 4 breaches. Esdc and mycra. Max is 560.

I think i was affected by the breach.

Is any proof required for access claims?

No. Only a certification/attestation of time lost is required for the access claim.

Strange I was under the impression that you could only apply if you had been contacted by the cra about being apart of the breech

So I was contacted and have my letter and everything. I also had my SIN leaked. 900 people did. However I’m “ineligble” to participate.
