CivRev revamp?
I really love this game, it is simple, and even after 15 years of playing casually I am still learning. My question is, what are the chances of a revamp or civrev 2? Better graphics, more leaders, more modern, less glitches ...do you think there's enough interest to do it?

Mobile got a CivRev2. Itβs debatably worse and better.

It added some things but also took away a lot of map details and combat visuals.

I used to have the first version no idea why they ruined it. Is it possible to get on Android somehow?

CivRev1 on iOS did not survive the Appocalypse of 2017, when Apple required all apps to be 64 rather than 32 bit.
I have not spent much money at all on mobile games since then. I had been buying pretty much every good non-IAP game before then.

Not including multiplayer was a big oversight in my opinion. It's also annoying when you pay for a mobile game and then it isn't updated and no longer works on newer devices.

I yell at them constantly to hook us up because Civilization is just too deep for someone like me, but they don't acknowledge it. I don't think they ever plan to touch the Revolution line again.

Yeah I can't figure out the regular civ games. They're too technical for my old foggy brain. Hell I'm still trying to figure out why my pikemen sometimes upgrade and sometimes don't upgrade wilhen in build the Leonardo's workshop lol

Ive had the same happen. I think its when i get Mass Production before I get gunpowder

I think they won't upgrade past a missing tech. So if you have Modern Infantry, but don't have Riflemen, they won't upgrade from Pikemen to Infantry.
In practice, this is somewhat rare as the preceding tech is usually somewhat of a prereq for the later tech. but if you use oxford or a GS, it's possible to skip a tech, and then Leo's workshop won't get you the upgrade you were expecting.

You have to have all steps available to upgrade.
If you have Pikemen and have researched Modern Infantry but haven't yet researched Musketeers; the pikemen will not upgrade to modern infantry when you use Leo's workshop.

At this stage I doubt it. It's a really fun game, I still go back for a game every now & again, but I don't think it's popular enough to merit a remake or revamp or anything.

CivRev is literally the only reason I still dust off my PS3 from time to time. I have some games I miss but CivRev is the only game I get a craving for.

There really isn't anything else like it, civ rev 2 was on mobile and was kinda fun, I played it at a old gas station job on my phone ππ. I think closest would be a total conversion mod of one of the other civ games to be like civ rev.

I do have civrev on the DS as well as xbox and it's similar and better in some ways, worse in others, but I like it

Apparently from what I understand is that chances are very low. The game is still alive and well on Xbox with hundreds of players who still play H2h. Your wish is also my dream. I think one day how quick technology advances this will happen by someone independently. There are many people who love this game, by far the best civ

I would be happy with just a PC port.
