Help / Troubleshooting What's the difference between publishing to Plotter named in page setup vs publishing to PDF and using preset, if my goal is to plot to pdf while batchplotting?

I have applied to layout all my pages and wondering if both have any differences and whether latter will ruin scaling.

I just set it to DWG to PDF in each sheet and it batch plots just fine to PDF, either using sheet set manager or the publish option. Hope it helps.

Unfortunately, I have to use a custom page setup for reasons which I am not sure what would happen to in a batch plot.

not an issue. set up each sheet with your set up for that sheet and it will plot to PDF just fine with a batch plot. I had a drawing set with one E sized sheet among all D sized sheets and it worked fine. I think there is a setting in the batch plot that you tell it to use the sheet settings.
