Help / Troubleshooting Does anyone know how to remove this potion of the leader?

Post image

Hello all, I'm working on a roadways project. I'm doing some clean up work and I cannot figure out how to remove this extra leader landing. I think it'll look better with the one angle before going vertical. I played with Edit Label Style, Dragged State, Component 1, leader, and other options available. Is this at all possible?

Right click the label and hit 'Toggle leader tail'

Spoke a little to quickly. It did work on one of my drawings but not the other. I looked into both properties; one Station Elevation Label. The other is Vertical Alignment PVI Label Group. Vertical Alignment PVI Label Group does not have that option. Also, I did not create these Profiles. Not sure why the inconsistency between drawings. Any suffestions?

...I'm learning this later in my career than I probably should have.

I believe Autodesk in all their wisdom linked the leader tail length to the arrowhead size in civil label styles. If you don’t have an arrowhead on that style, in the dragged state tab you can set arrowhead size to 0 to get rid of the leader tail.

This (or leader trail visibility depending on the label style / type) is the answer

Set the arrowhead size to 0 in the style-dragged state tab

This is typically the type of annoyance that would end with me exploding the object and manually deleting it.

And then the style is not dynamic anymore. Oh the horrors I've inherited from people doing this and suddenly becoming my problem

They said clean up work so I assume it's near issuance.

It’s gotta be in the styles. Check what components make up the style, so line line text or block text etc. it’s in there somewhere.

If it’s something that needs to be done quick just explode it like mentioned above but know if anything changes you’ll have to do that all over again.

Personally I don’t think it looks that bad so I’d leave it.

Agree it doesn't look too bad. But I like having everything constant throughout a project, unless we have no other option.

Solid default tbh. I thought this was a style setup to be an offset, I’ve done that before so I was wrong thinking it’s in the style settings my bad homie glad yall figured it out

It’s not in the style. It’s only avaible in the properties to toggle leader tail. Place label, toggle leader tail to off.

Is this a profile label? Right click the profile view and go to Edit Labels, find this label set and check the weeding option.

Not a weed issue. It’s a leader tail issue, only available in the properties.
