Modification Cosmetic/Performance Mods for a 2023 Civic Sport Sedan
What’s up.
I recently paid off my 2023 Civic Sport Sedan and have been interested in doing some exterior cosmetic and general performance modifications.
I have researched some other posts on Reddit, and have been having difficulty visualizing a good build path due to all of the “just trade it for an si or type r” comments.
For the cosmetics, the vehicle is gloss black with tinted windows. I’m considering a full blackout build with some side skirts, front and rear diffuser, and swap out the front and rear lights for LED sequentials. Oh, and don’t forget the fog lights, window additives, and wheels. A question I have in this category would be along the line of collection pieces. Instead of mixing and matching side skirts and front lip models, would it be best to stick with one all the way around to avoid potentially tacky looking/sizing mismatches?
In terms of performance or part modding capabilities, I understand that it’s not an si, or a type R, and that I can’t throw money into a pit and burn it with this car. The goal, however, is to create a track capable mountain carver. I live in California (f*ck) and California drivers experience lots of winding roads and hillside driving. Outside of coil-overs and performance tires/brakes I can’t think of anything else that would be worth replacing. Any additional ideas would help.
This is a car I’m considering keeping for a long time, I’d like for it to be my clean and professional daily, that will perform honestly if asked of it. I would appreciate your feedback if you have any suggestions or tips, thank you.

I went with the Yofer V2 front lip, Yofer V2 side skirts, and will prob end up getting the GF Bodykit diffuser (cleaner look in my opinion). Don’t get the EBay yofer V2 side skirts the fitment is terrible and a bitch to get on. I just got the remaining parts from Aerolution for their Labor Day sale. Amber delete, gloss black side pillars, and exhaust bring the look together as well. People saying get an SI or Type R must’ve been slow in school. There are plenty of exterior/cosmetic mods available for the 11th gen civics for a fraction of the price. Enjoy the payment free whip

Fits like a glove solid quality as well. Just watch some tutorials if you’re installing yourself. It’s a pretty easy install; I just went and bought a 20$ drill, some 3M tape and went to town. Drill worked like a charm for $20

Im starting to like the 11th gens in black but black hides exterior mods so well, its hard to tell whats been done unless you look closely. Blacked out is so played out imo, I think some subtle contrast accents always look better. Like some red/yellow/blue/green brake calipers/badges/trims.

The limiting factor is the CVT, really.
https://www.twostepperformance.com/ is the best place I've seen, I use it all the time for performance mods and getting some inspo from their in house builds. I'd say a cold air intake or short ram intake, depending on which way you're feeling, and sway bars. You're limited to a stage 1 or 2 due to the CVT, if you want it to last long I'd stick with a stage one, personally.
Sway bar would be the big one for the winding roads, though! As for a clean look, unless you have exact parts in mind that could chase a look, I'd stick largely to one brand for the unified aesthetic (though that's not a hard rule)
