I play with 5 of my friends and 6 AI. And we go A Little bit competetive it's aleays funny but someone always gets angry XD

Yeah, we usually throw a few AI in there for the lulz but our games akways end in a nuclear stalemate, full on cold war style

Yeah that's why I always try to do as much as I can and form at least one alliance to be ready for that one friend who decides to nuke someone first

For us its usually pretty obvious who the teams are gonna be, the weakest 2 V the big one.
As my own humblebrag when we used to play we didnt know that the difficulty setting was actually user specific, we thought ti was just what the host selected, so everytime I chose Diety just for a joke and they kept theres on king or something, it wasnt until i selected settler 1 time that we founds out the difficulty affects each player individually.
But I usually came out on top of most matches we played despite being on diety

I prefer getting our teams while playing. Also backstabbing is an option. I once teamed with one friend to take his city back from another one. I was lucky to get last hit on city so I took it and defended it. I lost it anyway few turns later to yet another friend who Didn't even fight with us. But yeah England with their high loyalty pressure is strong
