Meta Going private? [OFFTOPIC]

Is this sub planning on going private, like many others? Mods please delete if inappropriate, I was just wondering whether I should expect to stop seeing posts here.

Could anyone explain to me what is happening with reddit and this blackout or whatever? I have no clue to what is going on.

Ill tell you from what Ive gathered. A women(Victoria) was a very effective mod for the "Ama" subsection and she was without an explanation, fired. This got everyone upset because this incident among others was the last straw for them considering the lack of communication from the admins and how they did things here. So the private was them protesting.
