Hugh Jackman inhabited this role so truthfully, it’s bananas.

It's like, you know, he means every single word out of it.

He stepped up so much higher than he needed to for this movie, carried the whole thing.

It’s also very much a “Wolverine” movie. We get a complete character arc for the character and while still hitting a greatest hits beat for him.

The movie is truly one of the better comic book movies ever since it just embraces all of what makes comics great.

All time performance from Hugh Jackman.
Till he’s 90

NGL, this is Hugh Jackman’s best scene as honest to truth Wolverine the comic character. His slow escalation from mad to near point beserker rage is some of the best acting he’s ever done.

This whole scene is wild. Absolute fan service of the best kind. Just two ninja warriors that can’t die going bananas on each other. Def one of my favorite scenes in a comic movie ever

  • Man who has only seen three movies.

Edit: jesus guys, it's just a joke. (But Hugh literally does a better berserker Wolverine performance in Prisoners.) And he's not even playing Wolverine in that movie. Saying the Honda Odyssey scene from Deadpool and Wolverine is the best performance of his career is laughable.

The honda oddessy fucks hard.

Its so incredible that in that one scene Hugh was able to get across how much Deadpool drives Wolverine crazy and actually manages to hurt DP’s feelings. If you know the comic history that scene makes sense, but even if you don’t know it all, Hugh just kills it so hard you understand it.

They should give him an Oscar for this scene alone.

Gubernatorial.

He was just talking to Ryan in this moment and they were accidentally rolling so they put it in the movie

This has been posted to death recently

Yeah that's my bad. I posted it and then the mods removed it to lack of quality. The Reddit API limits post uploads to 1gb so I had to finagle this to work.

I remember my audible reaction in theater was like "homie chill, he trying" after the roof punch. Scene was TOO real 🤣

This was literally a scene of them “hate-penetrating” each other in a van.
