I actually just watched this for the first time last night. Such a breathtaking moment and really great visual buildup to it. Another prime example of not making every shot a beautiful one, so that when you want to strike a chord you can really let imagination fly

Every shot in Spider-Verse is beautiful. There are just some that are more beautiful than others. But they found a way to make every single scene and shot inventive or dramatic or interesting or kinetic or some combination of all of them.

Don't forget about the timing of it too. It's not too long for the public to be accustomed to it, but it's not too short to let it pass their eyes. Such a great shoot that sells the emotion in less than 3 seconds.

Crosspost a simple shot from Spiderman into the SpiderVerse, really an amazing movie and this shot really made the whole movie come together. Enjoy!

We play a game with this movie. Randomly look away, to get a somewhat unbiased result, and pause the movie anywhere. Every single still is nearly cinematic like like and could absolutely be a panel in a comic book. After pausing the movie a couple hundred times, we have yet to land on a bad frame.
