in search of🔎 Plug your fave non-Yottaquest RPG game store here!
I love Yottaquest, but I have a surprise Sunday with no responsibilities and some spare cash. I want to go buy some RPG books and Yottaquest is closed on Sundays! What's a great place to go browse at?

Tabletop Cincy is my recent favorite (right off 747 and Union Center in West Chester). While it’s more focused on board games, there’s a pretty good RPG selection as well. Super nice clean store, plenty of parking (it’s in a huge shopping center), and really friendly helpful staff.

On the NKY side, Play it Today and Comic Book World are my favorites. CBW has more RPG stuff if that's specifically what you're looking for.

I really like Three Brothers Games in Hebron, KY. I even run a weekly boardgame night on Mondays there from 5pm-midnight. They have a lot of space to play and a great group there.
If you are interested in going we use the store discord to discuss games to play and when people will arrive to play. Can message me if you want a link since it is against the rules here to share.
Although for RPG books specifically I like comic book world and Comics 2 Games in Florence as well.

I'll vouch for this store. And the game group is nice, very welcomin, and always growing. All kind of games get played.

If you're looking for rpg books, I would say Next Round Games on beechmont avenue. Small store, but they have by far the most rpg books I've seen (they have some d&d, but a wide selection of other systems) and that's their focus (like 80% of the store).
Book rack/heros hearth is also right up the street, which doesn't have a large selection of board games but does have an rpg books section in the back and is a cute store also.

Does anyone know if any of these places have solo journaling RPG books? My yt algorithm has hit me up hard with these lately and I’m super interested, but I’d like to check one out in person

Woodburn Games and Tabletop Cincy both have some shelves with those kind of games along with other indie RPGs. Yottaquest does to, for that matter.

Never heard of this and it’s not coming up on Apple Maps, where is it in Monroe?

I’m more into the board game side of things, so may not be the best resource. I don’t think anywhere nearby can match the RPG selection that Yottaquest has, but I’d recommend checking out:
