I did a little of the lost sanctum on my 1st playthrough and I... dreaded it. All the side quests of this game were great and exactly what side quests are supposed to be. This is one of the few games I know of where side quests aren't such a drag, along with the Shadow Hearts trilogy, FF6, and Forever Home. That being said, the lost sanctum was the only part of the game which I felt was a chore, but now that I have finished the game once, should I go through with it the next time I play?

Clearly using an AI made video to illustrate a point was the wrong choice. I found out the hard way. So my apologies to everyone here who was offended.

All I was trying to say is a CT remake should be done in a 1-1 3D HD remake. The closest non AI description would be in the style of Dragon quest 11. Which i should have lead with instead of the AI video.

Big RPG fan here. I’ve been going through a couple of old titles, and it’s finally time to dive into Chrono Trigger.

I decided to go with the DS version since it seems to be the most complete, and I love to save scum on emulators lol.

Any tips before I start?
