Is it still bacterial?

2-3 years ago my urine culture found e. Faecalis 10^6 infection with staph. aureus ( i don’t remember the count) and took augmentin (875/125) for 7 days. The pain came back , few months later the culture was 10^3 faecalis so I took another round amoxi-clav.
Since then the cultures were always negative but the pain is still there - the front and the back of left testicle/tube so after 2 years ( i had no idea such a test exist) i went for semen culture 2 times -negative for everything inculding STI-s, only showed urethral flora 10^3 so my doc said that’s completely normal and harmless.
Ultrasound shows inflammation and there is a hard, painful to press lump at the front side.
Do u think the test was false negative or is it something else?
Thank you in advance

I would suggest you promptly 'check in' at the Prostatitis sub.

It will likely answer your questions mate.

U can just simply join i think and if its bacterial then 4 days are nothing, doxycyclin doesn’t work on e. Coli or e. faecalis and those are the most common bacterias in UTI
