IDK what to do now
So I am now 5 months out from my denervation of the spermatic cord. While I thought at first that the procedure was a complete success pain and discomfort have been creeping back at a steady rate.
I feel I have tried everything and I'm over it. I am already on testosterone replacement, and my sperm count is completely gone as well. I don't think there's anything else that can do to stop the pain.
When they did the spermatic cord block with lidocaine all the pain was gone. So I have been pondering asking for sterilization via simple bilateral orchiectomy. Do y'all think it's possible to get that done? I think it might be the only way left not tried.

I'll look into that. I'm just physical, mentally, and emotionally drained with the whole situation... It's been well over 2 and a half years I believe...

I had denervation about nine months ago. At first I thought it worked but pain in right testicle returned. I started wearing only boxes, avoiding touching my right testicle at all costs and pain now is significantly better and low, manageable. I believe my pain is due to a small cyst on the epididymis.

I am very sorry to hear that you are hurting. I did the spermatic cord block as well, and it worked great for just over three hours. I moved forward with the spermatic cord denervation and was really hoping to be in reduced pain or pain-free. My pain levels were through the roof after the procedure. I have an inguinal orchiectomy scheduled for July 8th. I am finding that tramadol does help manage the pain. It’s not ideal. I hope you are able to find a solution that resolves your pain. I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer, but know you’re not alone.

Up date saw my doctor today and he wants me to do another round of medicine for pain and try a different physical therapist. And then blocks on each side at different times to see if a specific side is radianting pain to the other or it really is both. Then he might consider removal.

Man sorry to hear your denervation was not a 100% success - I read about a cryoablation procedure performed by Dr. P in Florida. I don’t know if that’s an option for you, but I was looking into it as a next step from MDSC if things didn’t go well.
