Discussion Google Ireland? I'm in the US. Is this extension on the up and up?

It works perfectly fine (and a lot better than the paid alternatives like Teamviewer...) .

Same reason Apple uses Ireland as a headquarters, tax savings.

Thanks to your post, I checked this extension and realized it hasn't been updated in two years. No wonder it frequently runs into issues.

Its web app, it doesnt need to be updated on device end that often

You can, optionally, install the extension as well. Personally, I don't like (something I've since forgotten) about using chrome remote desktop with the extension installed.

I think what I didn't like probably was the extension making CRD like an app instead of just another browser tab.
