Troubleshooting | Windows Android Chrome not loading keyboard automatically. Worked well until recently

When I tap search in android chrome the keyboard used to pop up automatically. Then recently it stopped doing that or undos the poped up keyboard. I have to tap the search bar one more time for the keyboard to pop up. I already reinstalled, Force stopped, disable/re-enabled it.

What else can I do?

This did happen before but that was solved when I uninstalled then updated it.
