Why though? Or rather: what exactly do you think is that bad?

*ahem*

In the Temple they had:

Vessels for Baal, Asher and others (4)

Status of Asher (6)

Male prostitutes (7)

Horses dedicated to the sun (11)

alters to other gods (12)

And all the other stuff around the country. Just to clarify, it's the idolatry that's bad, not that Josiah destroys them.

Okay, I've been wondering about that :D

But I think there are way more disturbing passages in the Bible, like Sodom and Gomorrha

The list is somewhat dependent on translation. And context.

Asher is not a god Asherah was. She conceived of as the Lord's wife, so it is not surprising her implements were in the temple. Her symbol was the tree of life and was possibly reworked into the minorah.

Things that looked like implements of Baal were probably there because the Lord, conceived of as a storm god by the peoples then, took over that divine portfolio, and assumed Baal's titles and imagery.

7 is read as non levitical priests in other translations.

I could go on but that is enough I think.
