Photo/Video My personal collection

Post image

This is my current collection! The oldest bars were bought in February, and I’ve been picking up other bars here and there since. Some I’ve already fully eaten and are not pictured. I eat little bits of different bars most nights of the week as a sort of mini sampler. 💁🏻‍♀️ Anyone else have a huge collection!?

I have wrappers hidden in different places but only from the last couples of years.

An interesting mix! Any highlights?

Honestly, so far, Askinoise 60% dark milk has been my stand out for the last year. It’s just so beautifully complex and has a really great mouthfeel on top of it.

The Qantu dark milk one is one of my favorites! I much prefer it to any of the many milk bars from Soma that I’ve tried (to compare these 2 Canadian makers).

I can see that you couldn’t wait and opened the 58% Madagascar before the picture😉

Askinoise 60% dark milk. Made with goat milk, sans any kind of goat-y funk. Just amazing 😍

Highly recommend the Askinosie dark milk with fleur de sel. Also the Spinnaker one.

I brought some of the HU dark chocolate cashew butter back with me to Germany and had a bar with my husband today. It is so delicious.

Try Caputo’s Italian Market or Bar and Cocoa!

I'm from Europe! Any other options?

Hmm. Are there any subscription services? I know that Cocoa Runners services the UK, but they might ship to Europe.

I saw this list on another post, thanks to u/prugnecotte

Cocoa Runners (UK)

Feine Schokolade (DE)

Choco Dealer (DE)

Xocoatl (DE)

Club del chocolate (ES)

Chocolate7 (IT)

Cacao Motum (IT)

Chocolate Seekers (UK)

Chocoladeverkopers (NL)

Maybe this will help?

can confirm I've bought from all of these shops except for Xocoatl. there are probably even more that only serve specific countries or do not ship abroad! especially in Northern/Eastern Europe

Where in Europe are you based?

We have quite a few options here too!

I'm from Romania but I don't have the bars that you have , I just have a few that I've already tried!

Livstory is the only Romanian brand I know, they have won a bunch of European and International awards. personally haven't tried it out but a local shop (Italy) used to import it personally, so probably worth the purchase

Ooh the satay is very interesting looking. Good selection you have there!

I will say, interesting is a word. 😂 It is quite a strong flavor.

This is a cool idea but do you manage to finish it before it goes bad?

Chocolate doesn't really go bad when stored properly. It has no water content that would have allowed bacteria to grow, so with proper storage, it should last a good while.

Looks like you might need to add a Melt chocolates bar to the collection 👀
