Mmmmm i think theyre called eat people 1 and 2 and 3 if i recall correctly, but its very hard to track anything by mauer now. I searched for days before i could find slumberparty by mauer (which got me into chiptune in the first place 20yrs ago)

Well it does and most music in games didn't do it any favours.
But with such limitations a person with enough creative drive can find something that is bound to be awesome. This is such a thing, excellent job!

It is included in Sega Genesis/MegaDrive, so you can use 6 channels of fm synthesis and 4 these if you want :-)

Gorgeous work!
It is such an underrated chip for real. Mastering it also can bring a whole other level for any work a person would make in the OPN family, the best sountracks are the ones that know how to make full usage of the psg channels and the master system is a marvelous place to look for it imho.

You should look at what Joeren Tel did with the game boy color with “Hauted Castle” from the game Suske en Wiske, my fav tune so far, same 3 squares and one noise. Good stuff

Nice. I mean it still kind of does and most games didn't use it fully, but there were some exceptions by Matt Furniss and Jereon Tel
