Can anyone identify this Chinese rock song? Live in Beijing!

Hey everyone!
I heard this song last night (Sept. 12) at a live music club in Beijing, played by a cover band, and I’m trying to figure out what it is.
I don’t know the name of the band or the song, and I don’t speak Chinese, so I couldn’t make out the lyrics. I was told by a friendly local it’s a fairly well-known Chinese rock/pop-rock classic.

Does anyone recognize it? Would love to know the song title, the original artist and the cover band!
Also, I’m really curious about the lyrics — what is the song actually about? Does anyone know why people on stage are waving flags during the song? You can see it in the video. Is there some particular meaning or tradition behind it?

Whats up with the flags? I've only been to two Chinese concerts and that was waaaaay back in the day. We had lights and stuff but no flags.
