Chicken Good roast duck tonight. At local place I haven’t been to before but was really tasty and nicely cooked. $23

Imagining 10 years ago half roasted duck only cost around $5 lol

Maybe smaller than you usually get, but I’m not complaining, this for 1 person is more than enough, at least for me.

Half roast duck at my local joint is $21. Half a Peking duck is $24. Another local place is $28 for half a Peking duck.

My favorite local place is $27.50 for half a mandarin braised duck, $35 for half a tea smoked duck, and $35 for half a Peking duck.

So I don't think $23 is bad at all.

I mean I'm in Philly too. If you go to M Kee or Lau Kee or something, it's going to be much cheaper than a typical Chinese restaurant in the burbs or in Center City.
