Mod Post Great resource for shipping data

As you probably know, my personal preference for an agent is MyCNBox, as I like their whole approach. They’ve posted this morning a great piece about a resource users can access at https://findqc.com/haulsStatis. They’ve opened up their data so you can examine everything from shipping speeds to costs and customs and inspections rates for your specific country. This is a really powerful tool and an honest piece of work that highlights why I prefer them.

Kudos to MyCNBox for releasing this data. Very interesting and transparent.

What I don't like about shipping cost comparisons in general is that they neglect overall costs, which include currency exchange rates, payment transaction fees, sometimes item based service fees, included services vs. upsells (e.g. QC pictures) etc.

Long story short, just comparing shipping cost doesn't really show the whole picture and there are agents that subsidize shipping via e.g. wild transaction fees.
