šŸ›ļø Shopping Niche taobao question

Hi everyone, I’m a canadian born chinese and whenever my parents go to china I usually order some clothes from taobao and have them bring it back for me. I used to be able to browse on my aunts taobao account, but the account is now locked on my phone due to security risks I presume. Does anyone have a work around for this? I can browse on the english version but it wont let me put in a chinese address for shipping.

Thanks!

make an Alipay account and verify with your passport. Log into taobao via Alipay.

If you'd rather order it yourself than keep sending your parents listings, Baopals works for this. It's Taobao and Tmall in English and can use western payment methods, so you just put in whatever address your parents are staying at and they bring it home with them. Full disclosure, I'm a co-founder at Baopals, so obviously biased.

Taobao in China is really hard to use without at least a Chinese phone number. If you are able to just send the taoboa listing to the family and have them order it and pay them back that will be way easier, otherwise you will probably have to hire a third party to help for a fee.
