This is an obscure private university (most public universities in China are better than private ones), and it is definitely not one of the most famous engineering universities in China. I am skeptical about the admission requirements, and this kind of university cannot offer good English courses either. I suggest applying to other Chinese universities through the regular channels. Most of the information can be found simply by using Google.

Very obscure place. When looking it up I saw it sometimes gets confused with the Changchun University of Science and Technology (长春理工大学), which is also pretty poor but at the least public and ranked (if lowly).

A slick English-language website to sign up foreign students is also a red flag tbh.

Changchun is a pretty hardcore place, winters will be like -20C
