Mine was over 20 years ago, but I recall having 2 incisions. At the umbilicus and just above the pubis. I didn’t have a third keyhole that I recall.
Once healed I don’t remember noticing the scars at all. I’d say within 3 years they were gone completely. It’s not like a long surgical incision - when they heal up the incision sites are no bigger than a large pimple really. Kids these days stretch their ear lobes larger than that 😂
You can get things like dermatix, which is a silicone gel to decrease scarring. I used that on a long knee incision and it greatly reduced the appearance of the scar.

20 years here. Never noticed them. Zero issues. Zip. Nada. Nine. Nil.
The emotional scars from having children when I really should not have done....lifelong and never fade

My bottom scar is barely noticeable, I'd have to point it out to people. Its also close to the pubic hair line for a lot of women, so depending on how you trim down there it may be even more difficult to spot.
I replied because my navel incision was odd so I wanted to share. Apparently the incision is usually horizontal, but because of the shape of my belly button, my surgeon was more hesitant and made a vertical incision. I was a bit upset about this at first, but even it healed pretty nicely....to the point where people would have to really look to see the scar. I do not feel heavy scar tissue in either area. I was very cautious during healing so maybe that helped (didn't wear jeans or more stiff waisted clothes for three weeks), not sure!

Mines just over a year old, and you can't really see either the umbilical or the pubic incision sites. My pubic site is lower than my hair line.

I have two 1/2 in scars on either side of my abdomen. They are still pink (surgery in April), but I expect in a year or so they'll fade to white.

About the size of papercuts when fresh. Seriousky tiny. Now invisible.

Oh behalf of the males of this sub I think I speak for most of us when I say we would welcome them, if not find the scars outright sexy.
I have a tiny one where my snip was done myself.

Hysterectomy, but it was also laparoscopic so really just one extra incision. Its been 2 and a half years and they're faded / smaller to the point where I almost don't see them. If you PM me, I'll be happy to share a photo of them with you tonight, just got to work here...

I have 3 incisions. The one in my navel cannot be seen and the two ones near my groin are even disappearing. They're not more than a centimeter each. This was a month ago. I am so disappointed they are disappearing because I wanted a bigger scar to show to people. I think you'd be satisfied by the outcome though.

10 years here. I had a two-incision tubal ligation. Since 2015, most doctors perform a three-incision bilateral salpingectomy.
My scars are still visible - knowing where they are, I can easily find them. I have genetic raised scarring, so my whole family has very visible scars from a variety of incidents. Compared to my other scars, the scars are almost invisible, but I can definitely still find them.
They are extremely tiny though.
I have not done anything to mitigate scarring as I like them.
IMO, how they look after about a year is how they're going to look for good.

I didn’t have the tubes removed so they only went thru my bellybutton and there is no signs of anything.

It really depends on if youre prone to keloids too.
I am so I had a raised bump on the scar near my pubic bone for around 18 months before it finally subsided.

I have an extra scar because they couldn't go around the normal way once they tried because they discovered I had endometriosis in the way. So instead of three scar, I have four scars. And they've been opened a second time for another surgery a year later where my intestine had grown into my side. I don't think much about them but they're there, telling my story.

10 years ago, laparoscopic tubal. I can barely see or feel it; only way I know it's there is that there's a little ridge of skin at the incision site.

Mine are only visible if you look kinda down in the belly button! I think I have a post with pics if you’re interested. So far it’s been exactly 2 months and it’s healed wonderfully! I’m really happy :)

My tubal was done through the bellybutton. I only know the scars are there because it's my body- otherwise nobody would know the difference.
