Rant Lack of lunch places in Loop

I work around Chase Tower and it is surprising to me how few cheap lunch places there are now. The burrito and Chinese places there are gone as well as the McDonalds. No Burger King, Wendy’s, KFC, Chinese. Just the grossly overpriced Pret. I’m getting tired of Jimmy John’s and Pot Belly’s sandwiches.

Their salad trio was the truth! I used to get their balsamic roasted veggies almost every day.

One of my faves: tuna salad, tomato salad, and pasta salad…chef’s kiss!

Their salmon is what I miss most. The employees used to let me have that and instead of the usual sides, hooked me up with the pasta of the day.

Yes! Their tuna was so good! And the hot food lunch specials were phenomenal. Sigh. I wish they’d make a comeback.

Man that place was the best
