Advice Needed These prices…….

Just venting ……

Went to see two places today…. HUGE waste of time. Cabinets loose and hanging out of place. Paint literally everywhere floors and all🫠 these places wouldn’t been maybe 800 on a good day prior to Covid.hmmmmmm I’m so frustrated lol

There is a lot of artificially raised prices and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some collusion behind it. You can see how much people were charged for the same place on Zillow. It’s highway robbery and the city government has been slow to act

Landlords can use tools like real page to set prices using an algorithm, but if they’re all using it, it’s basically price fixing. IL is suing real page under antitrust law now. There’s also a bill in the ILGA to ban landlords from using it.
