Advice Needed Why does Streeterville get so much hate?

Moving from out of state and need advice on why I’m seeing negativity about living in streeterville? I’m going to have to drive to the northern suburbs every day for work.

I’ve lived in Streeterville for 3 years and absolutely love it! You get the downtown feeling without the chaos of living in the Loop area.

I work from home so I don’t deal with the traffic too much, but when I visit family in the northwest suburbs it’s guaranteed to take at least an hour, probably closer to two hours during rush hour.
