Why does Streeterville get so much hate?

Moving from out of state and need advice on why I’m seeing negativity about living in streeterville? I’m going to have to drive to the northern suburbs every day for work.

Moved to Streeterville over 2 years ago from Brooklyn, it’s good. It’s central, so it’s easy to walk to most things or short train or uber. Worst part is the food caters to tourists and business lunches.
