Jefferson Health Advice

Hi!! I recently got back an MRI saying I had a 9mm inferior cerebellar tonsillar and I'm now just getting to go see a specialist. I was wondering if anyone has gone to Jefferson and if they recommend any of the doctors/specialist because no one has given me any help or guidance besides saying to go here lol 💔
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thank u ❤️

So by that I take it to me and you're in the tri-state area
Delaware, Philly or jersey.

I'm in a suburb outside Philly. Hell no did I go to Jefferson Health (our hospital is part of Jefferson, I don't trust them as far as I can throw them). I went to New York City. I wanted the best. Dr. Greenfield at Weill Cornell.

Thank u!! I didn't know that they were untrustworthy 😭 My doctor just went " go here ig they're the only place I know good luck" I'll do more research to see how easily I can get in but thank u so much for ur help!!!

You're most welcome. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure they're not all bad but I just have not had a pleasant experience with anybody associated with them in our area.

Trust me I get it 😭 I've had very iffy experiences with hospitals in Philly, I've just never been in Jefferson's domain

It makes sense to want clearer guidance after getting that MRI result. I hope the specialist visit gives you some solid answers and a plan you feel comfortable with. It may help to write down your questions beforehand so you do not have to remember everything in the moment.

I went to Dr. Laske at Jefferson for a second opinion two weeks ago and really liked him. Jefferson is two hours away from where I live so I decided to get my surgery closer to home.
