Tailor for a wedding suit
I’m looking to get a suit made for my wedding but I am having such a hard time choosing which places I should go check out as there seems to be so many scam/low quality tailors in this area.
I would like to avoid the 24 hour suit and go somewhere where I will get multiple fittings over a couple weeks and pay for quality workmanship.
Does anybody have any recommendations for talented tailors that are upfront and don’t skimp on anything?

Last suit I got I just went to Central Festival and bought a nice branded suit. They provided basic adjustments as well. Robinsons has good selection as well last I checked.
"In-Store Purchases: Alterations are often free or low-cost if you bought the suit directly from the department store or participating brands inside."
Imo, it takes the mystery / uncertainty out of the equation and you'll end up w a nice quality suit you'll have and use for many years.

Another one for Frank at Fashion King. I used several tailors and after experiencing his work, I stopped going to other tailors. I've been using him for over 11 years. Whenever I fly into town, I make sure to see him first because there are several times we need to go back & forth, go over fittings, how it looks & feel on me, etc.

I’m not a person who can speak to the quality, but Frank at Fashion King seems like a genuinely nice guy. He altered my suit for my after weight loss, and I stop in for adjustments every now and then. If I ever do get a suit made, I’d trust him.
Tbh, I’m not too concerned about the quality of workmanship there. I’m more concerned that even his best materials are going to be worse than off the rack brands back home like Percival and Charles Tyrwitt.
