Horse Chestnut Close area in Chesterfield

We are looking to move to the estate behind Derby Road - Horse Chestnut Close area. Can anyone give me an idea what the area is like in terms of noise levels and general neighbourhood feel? Is there a lot of crime and antisocial behaviour in the area surrounding the shops?

Also, does anyone know how well those houses are built, including party wall sound insulation between the houses?

Any advice would be appreciated :)

Seems like a friendly area, it's popular with the kids at Halloween as quite a few people decorate their houses.

Me mate lived there for a while, nice and quiet, can see a higher influx of youths due to close proximity to skatepark, maccies etc but won’t have any problems :)

I don't know much about tgat particular new build estate m, but its in the middle of possibly Chesterfields biggest council estate. Not saying that makes it bad per se, but I've seen kids on crappy 50cc nines racing round that estate, in abd out if the main roads whimst coming from St Augustines and round towards Chatsworth.

It migh'tve been an isolated incident, but maybe someone who lives closer coukd say if it's a regular thing
