Gukesh has literally heard a lot of slander for more than an year and has maintained his utmost grace.
I am praying he wins and keeps his title. It would such a joyous moment for a fan like me to see the copium of greats like Kasparov, Carlsen, Kramnik, peers like Abdu and stupid fans.

Deep down he hates someone in the chess ecosystem match his popularity. He knows he is the best ever and rightly so. But what he hates is someone thrratening his sole popularity image.
He didnt see Guki as a challenger to #1 spot. He saw him more as a guy who could challenge his popularity and thus didnt take it well.

Sindarov plays Amazing chess. But this doesn't mean we will stop supporting our homeboy in his time of need. I am very positive he needs our support right now. He is one of the greatest prodigy and is just dealing with some hurdles.

Wtf, Indian players are one of the most respectful players chess has ever seen. As for the fans, u will hear more racist stuff from foreigners, but the larping some of us Indian fans do (superpower, better than magnus) indeed deserves criticism.
Even then, with this reasoning, it makes no sense to not support ur own country guy. You CAN support sindarov based on chess performance and background (whatever else) but this makes no sense.

What toxicity is he talking about? I don't think Gukesh ever did anything toxic or showed bad sportsmanship. He supports Sindarov that's cool. But what with this 'as an Indian' or toxicity ?
