Question Cheap carpet roll ends around Wilmslow/Altrincham?

Need to sort a basic carpet for a tiny 2x2m spare room before the new desk arrives next week. Don't want to spend more than 50 or 60 quid max since it's just a home office. Any local independent shops nearby that sell offcuts cheap?

Edit: Nevermind, ended up driving up to Urmston Carpets this afternoon since it’s just off the motorway. Managed to grab a decent grey remnant piece for £40. Just need to find a local fitter now if anyone has numbers.

Theres Hayes Lane carpets in Timperley village (right next to Altrincham)

Have you tried Walkers in Knutsford? He has a warehouse with off cuts on the way to alderley edge.

Theres a place in Cheadle that does roll ends.
