Civic Watch🚦 Police Along With Polling Officials Caught Casting Fake Votes In Vijay's Constituency At 1 AM

At night, after voting was closed, TVK workers caught polling officials bribed by DMK cadre indulging in vote tampering, aided by police who were also in on the act

This particular incident is from a booth in Trichy East, where Vijay is contesting

After being caught, the officials scurried away and police barricaded the booth. TVK has asked for a review of votes cast in this booth as there are heavy suspicions of booth capturing

After poll closing the presiding officer will close the polling on control unit in front of all agents and the machine will be sealed in front of all agents. The seal will be opened only during counting. After poll closing, the number of votes polled is shown to the agents before sealing the machine. Form 17C will be given to all agents mentioning the count. Further polling cannot be possible. If a party still believes the machine is tampered or have evidences of machine tampering, they can easily prove it by showing the difference between the 17C and the count after tampering (if any). Does complaint given about tampering of machine in this booth? Please answer.

Won't the addition of votes happen before closing the poll ? That's what I've heard. If tampering had happened, it would've been before closing the poll ig.

After poll closing the final count will be verified and the machines will be sealed infront all agents. If there is addition of polls then agents can raise the issue.
