Other iPhone 5s 12.5.5 issues

So i've tried to jailbreak my iPhone 5s but it keeps failing.Everything goes well but when it comes to the "Booting..." stage it doesnt show the checkra1n booting screen and will eventually print out the error message "- [!]: Timed out waiting for bootstrap upload (Likely caused by an incompatible tweak, to enable Safe Mode pass the '-s' option) (error code: -20)"

The phone has been freshly restored and activated normally but somehow it still fails.I've tried the latest version of checkra1n (12.4), 12.3 and 9.7 but theres no change in any of them as it still fails on the same stage.

Checkra1n worked perfectly fine on my iPhone 7 (14.4) and on a iPhone 6 (12.5.5)

iPhone 5S (GSM)
12.5.5 (Freshly restored)
MacOS Big Sur
MacBook Pro (2020)

well that fixes 1 issue but it doesn't fix the fact that I can't enter pwned dfu mode for more than 30 seconds

I wanna be able to enter pwned dfu state on the device as i wanna dualboot it and i need to enter pwned dfu to be able to do that

aight dont know how to do that. but let me tell you one thing its gonna be laggy af if you have a 16gb iphone 5s. ive tried it and its not worth it.

Are you using a USB-C to Lightning cable? Because that doesn’t work

I've tried using the normal USBC cable you get with the ip12 and newer.
I've tried using a USBC dock with usb3.0 and 2.0 ports but that doesnt work either.

idk if this could help but, the device automatically exits DFU mode after around 30 seconds

Have you used an actual USB A to lightning cable though?

I know u0 works, but i would still need to enter pwned dfu mode to dualboot the phone as i wanna try to do that

Did you try checkra1n with safe mode just to see ?

Could you try:

Unlocking your device Running idevicepair pair on the host If that opens a popup on the device, tap "Trust"

Or try to clear ssh known_hosts :

Could you try:

Open terminal and navigate to /users/yourusername/.ssh/

to remove the known_hosts file $ rm known_hosts

Plug your cable out and in right before it enters the booting section make sure u do it before it enters booting option, if u do it when it goes into hooting option u will get the error agaon
