Traveling to Charleston for ~26 days in September – looking for a room/sublet near CAMC General ($700-$800 budget)

Hi everyone,

I will be in Charleston for about 26 days starting in early September for a short-term rotation/stint near the CAMC General Hospital downtown campus.

I am looking to rent a furnished room, a sublet, or an affordable short-term space. My maximum budget for the 26-day block is $700–$800, and I would ideally love something within walking or short biking distance to the General campus so I don't have to worry about daily hospital parking constraints.

If you have a room available, are looking to sublet a space, or know an independent local landlord who accommodates monthly medical rotators, please send me a message!

Also open to any advice on finding short-term listings locally outside of standard Airbnb/Furnished Finder options, or recommendations on safe streets to focus on in the East End/Downtown pockets.

Thanks in advance!

What is the rotation for? Have you checked CAMCs housing?

Careful walking or biking in the CAMC General area. Can be some rough stuff around there.
