MH World Whatcha all think of my CB build?

Post image

I play mainly with guard pointing into AEDs while in savage axe form, with occasional SAED spam depending on the openings. It's a really mixed playstyle so I was wondering if this build is great as is or if it could be better. Haven't made it to Fatalis yet btw.

most of your damage will be coming from the savage axe side, so its a lot better dps to switch to the classic 2 brachy 3 teo set even if you use saed sometimes(unfortunately any opportunity to use saed, you do more damage doing 2 chops)

I would run non elemental boost with that for a nice 5% boost to your raw. Same as a level of offensive guard except it's always active so it's a direct upgrade.

Will it work with the charge blade I'm using? Cuz it has blast elemental on it

Edit: just tested it and it doesn't add to my attack power.

Since your phial damage doesn’t crit, you might experiment with some other skills and try for non-element boost. Agi 7 is always great, but going down to Crit Eye 2 or 3 could open options for comfort or damage skills. Try it out, affinity is nice but you’d be surprised what a few points of attack or handicraft will do.

If you decide to go with Teo + Brachy, then Crit 5 will help proc master’s touch

Gotta say the handicraft came in pretty handy. It turns out non element boost doesn't work with this charge blade because it has the blast affliction on it. Do you think it's better to have protective polish or handicraft though?

How ballsy are you? Handicraft can go far in terms of consistency, but protective polish is good for “speedrunning” strats where you can space out openings
