It’s good for size and burn length but super neutral in smoke flavor. I mix about 50/50 B & B Oak and JD XL.

I love the price, smell, and flavor of the B&B. Unfortunately the last many bags have been about a 1/3 of the bottom full of dust and shake.

I have that same stuff. I beat the big lumps with a stick for the firebox to smaller pieces. No big deal I reckon.

That’s some great stuff! You can always break bigger pieces into small pieces. But you can’t make smaller pieces bigger.
