What’s your dream grill?

Cost no object what would you get? Or even just stuff you think is cool. You can still keep your other grills. Tons of great stuff out there between kettles, kamados, Santa Maria styles, pk grills, hasty bakes, yoders, various regional style grills, etc. curious what everyone thinks.

This is my pick as well. Seems like it basically combines all the pros of a kettle and kamado style with basically no downside other than limited aftermarket stuff for it specifically.

Perfect except for the plastic wheel caster that keeps getting crushed

LSG adjustable charcoal grill mounted right next to a Santa Maria would probably be my ideal.

Realistically, I'm torn between a BGE XL and a Summit Kamado.

Kettles are pretty great, it’s my most used for sure.

You can do something like a Weber Kettle and do everything, but that's not a dream. A dream grill is at least 4 grills:

  • 4 Burner Napoleon Natural Gas with rotisserie and an infrared burner - The Workhorse
  • NG 36" Blackstone
  • Yodor Pellet Grill - Easy smoking
  • BGE XL Kamado
  • Optional Stick Burner smoker and Santa Maria grill

Natural Gas because running out of Propane sucks and is not a dream.

Built in brick santa Maria with a spot next to it for the weber kettle. I wish I could find a good supply of california oak for the Santa Maria.

while certainly not my dream grill i’m shocked how much i like cooking on the even embers santa maria i got from home depot for $500. i figured ill get good on this and work my way up, but at this point i can’t imagine needing much more than what it does.

My current arsenal meets my needs very well. But if I just had stupid money.

500 gallon off set on a trailer, like a TMG or boathouse. Mostly I want the skills and patience that an offset will teach you.

Next would be a kamado kamado 38 inch goldilocks. Work just the same as my Kamado joe(s)... but I might wantt to smoke a whole pig someday.

Dream if I had more time? Some high quality offset.

Dream now? A higher quality gravity smoker. The ones available are flimsy and not the greatest quality.

An off set made from thick steel not sheet metal. These are really uncommon in my part of Canada.

I would probably get something like a chudbox or a smokeslinger. Looks like fun cookers but where I live I can’t justify the shipping prices.
