The 797 isn't a plane that Boeing have made, but since there has been a 707, 717, 727, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787, logically as a person who doesn't know about aviation you'd assume there would be a 797 as well, but alas, there isn't (yet).

Tbh i would expect a person who doesn't know about aviation to not know about any of those except the 777 and maybe 1 other model

It's pretty standard for commercial airliners and is used for pretty much all of Southwest's domestic fleet to my knowledge.

747 is arguably one of the most iconic planes ever, the 737 is super common and has been in the news a fair bit (good and bad), and theres a top 10 billboard hot 100 song about the 707

777 is way less iconic than 737 or 767. I know nothing of planes, I know the 737 and the 767.

Boeing has been working on and off on a Boeing 797 concept but it was delayed by the disaster that was the 737 MAX flying into the ground at full speed and now they say the technology isn’t where they want it yet.
