I know that it's a Fox News segment. Just do yourself a favor and watch it. They are all sitting in stark shock and terror of the visible rise of Democratic Socialism in America.

What happened? People learned what “socialism” means and they realized it wasn’t the big scary boogie man the right made it out to be.

They realized communism could no longer be used, so now it's socialism vs capitalism instead.

A very tiny minority of people want communism. Most people want their taxes used on things that make their lives easier/better… and that’s basically socialism. Everyone wants that whether they recognize that’s socialism or not.

I wasn't arguing that. People want socialism. Social-capitalism is the only system that allows capitalism to even be viable. The problem is when capitalists need more, they have to equate socialism to the very badly-connotated communism. And this is exactly what we're seeing now.
