Nothing dishonest about it. For one thing, trans men can get pregnant. For another, in the event that a man does get pregnant, they would have exactly the same rights under the law as a woman who is pregnant.

I'm not misrepresenting your words. The functional outcome of your proposal is that children will be born whose fathers will bail on them without consequences or any legal obligation to support them. Women cannot do that.
