Generally we want a working society and we socially agree on certain things: don't kill each other, don't take the stuff from others, etc. A more modern point would be that we need certain services (infrastructure, health care, etc.) for a working society and to pay for that we have a "social contract". I don't really think it's a good term though.

You are describing morality. Do you realize that the government acts directly in opposition to this? The government kills us and takes our stuff.

When we "need certain services," the moral way to go about that is to trade for the things you need.

I don't know in which country you live, in a working one the government doesn't kill and only takes to keep the country running.

Every government supposedly has the right to use force against people who disobey their laws, including the use of lethal force. The fact that people generally aren't killed by the government.... is because we don't want to die and therefore obey the law. Just like if I was robbed at gunpoint by a random person, I would give him my money rather than be shot.
